The Crestwood Secondary School are recruiting for a Head of English to start September 2022.

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

These are exciting times for Crestwood as we are oversubscribed in Years 7, 8 and 9. The Crestwood Secondary School is very proud to advise all stakeholders that our most recent Ofsted inspection rated the School as 'Good with Outstanding Features' - February 2018. We are a fully inclusive school with high expectations of all our students.


We are looking for a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Head of English to join us in our journey towards ‘Outstanding’.

The successful candidate will possess the expertise to inspire and engage students, and will be determined to get the best from our diverse cohort of students, ensuring they make their very best progress. This will be achieved through planning and delivering engaging lessons, which will inspire our learners to succeed with the opportunity to each across KS3 to KS5.
