TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 - SEND
Grade: TA2 – Band F scp. 7 - £13,890 pa (pro rata)
Hours: 17.5 Hours per week - Term Time only plus 5 inset days.
Contract: Fixed term Contract – 5th September 2022 to 31st March 2023
Telford Infant School is a three form entry Infant school based in the north of Leamington Spa with approximately 270 children on roll. Telford Infant School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team supporting pupils under the direction of our SENDCo.
The post is for 17.5 hours per week working from 8.30am to 12noon from Monday to Friday term time only.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
- Is a skilled practitioner Is passionate about helping children make excellent progress Is flexible, enthusiastic and has good organisational skills Has good communication and interpersonal skills and has the ability to work as part of team Is keen to be involved in all aspects of school life. Has a thorough understanding of the need for confidentiality and the importance of safeguarding. Is confident in the use of IT.
Experience of the Plan-Do-Review approach for children with SEND needs would be desirable.
