The role
As our Teacher of Religious Studies, you will plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning to help pupils achieve excellent academic results. You will also play a vital role in designing an engaging and challenging curriculum that inspires children to appreciate the subject.
Our ideal candidate:
- is qualified to degree level or above
- has proven evidence of raising attainment in the subject
- has proven evidence of improved practice following feedback
- is an excellent classroom teacher with the ability to reflect on lessons and continually improve their own practice
- has the ability to understand and interpret complex pupil data to drive lesson planning and pupil attainment
- has good communication, planning and organisational skills
- has genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil
