Moorside High School is an extremely popular, over- subscribed, comprehensive school in the Staffordhsire Moorlands. The school was rated as good in the Ofsted January 2017 inspection. Pupil’s outcomes at the end of key stage 4 have placed us well above the national average for schools for the last 3 years.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with immediate effect to provide short-term cover for absent teachers. The successful candidate will generally cover lessons of any subject, set high expectations to motivate and challenge students whilst managing behavior effectively, promoting a positive learning environment. Full support and training will be provided.
In periods where cover is not required the successful candidate will support in the classroom as directed.
