Teacher of Science - Full or Part Time Permanent
Codsall High is a comprehensive school for Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi-rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and more than three hundred in its highly successful sixth form.
We are very proud of our focus on staff and student wellbeing; driven in our aims and ambitions to build on our success in a supportive and friendly environment.
The health and wellbeing of our staff is a priority; with an open-door senior leadership policy, a comprehensive new staff support programme, celebration of staff who go the extra mile and in-house pathways programmes for aspiring future leaders.
We are looking for an inspirational Science Teacher to join our school in September 2022.
The ability to teach GCSE Science is essential. The ability to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics at GCSE or A Level would be an advantage, although not essential.
The post would suit an experienced teacher who is already an outstanding practitioner, a trainee teacher who will gain Qualified Teacher Status this year who has real potential or a teacher at the early stage of their career who would like to join a successful department.
A recruitment allowance or development package are available for an exceptional candidate.
To arrange an informal discussion about the post or visit to the school please contact Mrs H Zatte, the Executive Headteacher’s PA, at the email address shown above. Completed application forms with a letter of application should also be sent to Mrs H Zatte.
The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 23rd May 22 at 9am. Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday 25th May 22.
"This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment".
