Specialist Teacher of ASC temporary, fixed term, initially for 6 months

 

Salary: £25,714 - £41,604 per annum plus SEN allowance (£2,270 – £4,479)

 

We are looking to appoint a full-time temporary Teacher for 5 days a week to manage the ASC Resource Base set within The Wilnecote School (Tinkers Green Road, Wilnecote, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 5LF).  This is a temporary position and is initially for 6 months. Full time is preferable but is negotiable for the right candidate.

 

The Teacher who is appointed will demonstrate they have the skills to monitor and evaluate progress by providing effective management and support to both staff and pupils attending the Resource.

 

The following criteria are essential:

 

  • Experience of working with pupils with an ASC Knowledge of pupils at Key Stage 3 and 4 Knowledge of curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4 

 

 

Staff at the Resource liaise and collaborate with school staff to encompass the policies of the school and attend staff meetings where appropriate.

 

Employees have a responsibility for, and must be committed to, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people ensuring they are protected from harm. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
