Do you have a passion for and previous experience of working as part of a team to deliver the day-to-day facilities operations of running a building?

The Guildhall is the administration centre for members of the City Council as well as a visitor attraction for the City, you will be responsible for ensuring all rooms are set up ready to host visitors, Council and Committee Meetings. As a beautiful Grade 1 listed building, the Guildhall is also available for external hirers wishing to hold their wedding, event, conference, or meeting. The successful applicant will have experience of delivering a high standard of front of house and visitor experience services in a heritage or similar setting. 

The successful applicant will possess a keen eye for detail and experience of assisting in setting up exhibitions, displays and presentations of objects, artworks and archives etc.

The successful applicant will also maintain records and inventories of objects, artworks and archives etc. and arrange the repair and maintenance works of such items.

The working hours of this role are based on a four-weekly rota, an average of 37 hours per week. The rota includes both daytime and evening working and one weekend in four.
