Job Details
Herefordshire Council is looking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join a professional and passionate team. We have an exciting journey ahead to reinvigorate property management across the Council. Join us for a wide ranging and interesting role that has excellent career prospects.
The post will be responsible for writing and maintaining the Compliance Management System to minimise risk to the Council and deliver compliance for the Corporate Landlord.
You will act on behalf of the Corporate Landlord for all Council assets to develop, instruct and manage the property compliance schedule, reporting and remedial works arising from planned inspections, testing and maintenance visits.
You will work with the provider to monitor performance and key performance indicators against the schedule, identify and escalate risks and ensure procedures are followed.
The role also supports the delivery of effective contract management including; analysing performance, supporting the development of targets and objectives to demonstrate how the services are achieving contractual outcomes and contributing to the councils outcomes, undertaking audits to support continuous improvement, drive efficiencies and demonstrate value for money and contribute to the continued development of effective partnerships, through productive client/commissioner and provider relationships
