Job Details

The Housing Advice and Benefits Team delivers the front-line service delivering support to assist clients to pay their rent and council tax, or to receive discretionary financial support.

In addition, we also assist clients who are rough sleeping, homeless or at risk of losing their home or wish to join the Council’s Housing Waiting List. 

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative person to work closely with our Team Supervisor to deliver a Housing Waiting List service that meets the needs and aspirations of our clients. In addition to providing first line support to team members you will also have responsibility for making decisions on more complex cases.

Not only will you need to have a detailed understanding of the legislation, you will also need to have a commitment to deliver service improvement and put clients truly at the centre of what we do in line with our CANDO values.
