Homeless & Prevention Officer

The Housing Advice and Benefits Team delivers the front-line service to those who are rough sleeping, homeless or at risk of losing their home or wish to join the Council’s Housing Waiting List. In addition we also provide financial support to assist clients to pay their rent and council tax, or to receive discretionary financial support.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative person to join our team to assist clients who are threatened with homelessness or are homelessness.
Not only will you need to have a good working knowledge of the legislation, you will also need to have a commitment to service improvement and put clients truly at the centre of what we do in line with our CANDO values.
