Salary:  Grade 4 (SCP 5-6)   £19,650 - £20,043

Location – Office based in Brierley Hill and with some home and agile working within the Dudley borough

Dudley MBC, Housing Training team have a vacancy for a full time Administrative Assistant.

We need someone who is customer and quality service focussed, very much with a ‘can do’ attitude, organised and efficient in their work ethic. We are a close and supportive team, flexibility and a keenness to support others to achieve is important.  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people is a ‘must have’.

 

The successful applicant will provide full administrative support to the Housing Training team.  You will undertake a full administration service for training events including producing and maintaining training lists, issuing joining instructions, booking venues, processing payments and checking invoices and the provision of information advice and guidance. You will support with design and provision of training materials and provide trainer support and a ‘meet and ‘greet’ service for events.

You will also support Training team members with other aspects of work such as the post entry qualification program, construction apprenticeship program and work experience program.

You should be able to demonstrate knowledge and use of a range of ICT systems and solutions, in particular, a good working knowledge of Excel is required for this post, along with the ability to design and implement evaluation processes and reports. Collection and production of statistical information is an intrinsic aspect of the role.
