2 x part-time Caretakers required
2 X POSITIONS AVAILABLE BOTH FOR A 20 HOUR CONTRACT, WORKING A SINGLE SHIFT, ALTERNATING BETWEEN AM AND PM EACH WEEK, WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK TOGETHER DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Shift pattern – Monday to Friday
Week 1 – 6.30am to 10.30am
Week 2 – 3.00pm to 7.00pm
Grade 5 SCP 6-9 FTE £20,043 - £21,269 - Actual Salary £10,834-£11,497
All Year Contract - Annual Leave entitlement 24 days (0-4 years) 29 days (5 years +)
Chadsmoor Federation are seeking to appoint, two reliable, professional and practical individuals. The successful candidates will support both our Infant and Junior School in providing a safe, effective and efficient learning environment. The ideal candidates will be all-round skilled tradesmen, with a can-do attitude, ensuring attention to detail and taking pride in the work that they do.
Responsibilities cover general caretaking duties across both schools including; opening and closing the premises, maintenance and repairs including contributing to projects and maintenance schedules, waste management, emergency call outs and health and safety compliance checks. Duties will also include ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and security is maintained to support and safeguard the welfare of all persons using the school premises.
The successful candidate will need to be fit and able to cope with physically challenging duties and have good communication skills and be ready to deal with a variety of situations. Candidates will need to work flexibly at all times and may on occasion be required to work weekends and bank holidays. There will be a requirement to undertake training appropriate to the post.
Please note annual leave must be taken during school holidays.
