Governors at Stoneydelph Primary School are looking to recruit a Full Time and a Part-time Permanent Playworker for our Learning Tree Nursery from September 2022

Hours:         Full- time post 32.5 Hours per week, term time only

Part-time post 13.0 hours per week, term time only (Mon & Tues).

Salary:  Grade 3 Point 3-4 (FTE £18,887 - £19,264 per annum) = (Pro Rata salary Full Time is £14,334 to £14,620 per annum / Part Time is £5,734 to £5,848 per annum). 

 

The successful candidate will be an important member of our school team playing a key role under the direction and instruction of the Learning Tree Nursery Manager. They will be a committed and enthusiastic individual, keen to make an impact on the lives of our children. They will be able to work as part of a successful and collaborative team and also take initiative where necessary. They should be able to demonstrate that they are punctual, thorough, reliable and be flexible, friendly and approachable to our staff and pupils. You will be joining a happy, hardworking and friendly staff who share high expectations and are committed to making a difference to the young children in our care.

 

Duties include:

  • work effectively within a team of staff to provide fun, safe and stimulating activities that support and develop children’s learning at their earliest years of education
  • have a good understanding of child development
  • promote good behaviour, polite table manners and social skills within the lunchtime
  • deal with incidents of behaviour according to the school policy
  • administer first aid when needed
  • maintaining Covid-19 safe procedures

The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
