Games Master (Casual)

The Commandery will shortly be opening an immersive Escape Room experience and will require a small pool of Casual Games Masters to run the sessions.  Guests in our Escape Room will use teamwork, intuition and intelligence to crack codes, solve puzzles and achieve their objective within 60 minutes.  Our Games Master will prepare the rooms, greet and brief the guests, observe their game offering clues when needed, and re-set the room for the next group. Most importantly you will make sure our guests all have an enjoyable and memorable experience

We are looking for friendly and confident individuals who have great people skills, good attention to detail, and are reliable and professional.

Experience working in escape rooms, immersive entertainment, theatre or any other similar industries would be ideal, but is not essential. Our Games Masters will also have responsibility for opening and closing the Commandery building on their own so previous experience in a role with responsibility for security of premises would also be an advantage.

As causal employees there are no set or guaranteed hours as the hours will be dictated by bookings. The majority of work will take place on evenings and weekends, with additional shifts anticipated in school holidays and occasionally during the week. Availability at short notice for last minute bookings would be an advantage.

Please note the Escape Room is in the attic of the building and is only accessible via stairs.

Minimum age for applicants is 18.
