Street Scene are seeking an individual experienced in grounds and cleansing maintenance to manage the day-to-day operations of staff whilst undertaking the full range of duties which include operating and driving vehicles, and other plant and equipment, and all aspects of grounds and cleansing maintenance.
Duties will also include working at the direction of the team leaders to organise and manage all team duties including cyclical works programmes, deliver works at maximum efficiency on time and within budget, deploy resources within the team to meet service demand and ensure all duties are undertaken in accordance with corporate health and safety requirements and within agreed standards of service delivery and customer care.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience of working within ground’s maintenance and have a sound knowledge of the service area. Experience of dealing with the public and knowledge of health & safety issues relating to the post is essential.
Applicants must have the ability to work 5 days out of 7 per week including bank holidays and weekends as required as part of a rota system.
