Job Details

Hamstead infant School is a good school with a hard-working and dedicated team of staff and a positive, supportive ethos.  

We are seeking to appoint a School Office Administrator due to the promotion of our current member of staff. 

The successful candidate will:
*Demonstrate excellent professionalism, teamwork and efficiency, and produce work of a consistently high standard.   
*Be required to provide administrative assistance to the Head Teacher and School Office Manager.
*Have experience and a good understanding of how to work effectively in a busy school office. 

Main responsibilities and duties include:
*Liaising with outside agencies on the Head Teacher’s behalf
*Managing reprographic processes
*Managing school office administration procedures including maintaining and updating records on SIMS,  telephone, post and reception duties, preparation of school letters, school registers and first day calling for absences
*Secure transfer of records and CTFs via MOVE it.
*Assisting the Head Teacher and School Attendance officer in all aspects of pupil attendance
*Producing school letters and managing communications via Class Dojo system
*Sale of school items such as book bags and water bottles
*Petty Cash disbursement
*Generation, receipt and processing of orders and invoices
*Use of FMS module for financial accounting systems
*Managing nursery admissions in liaison with the EYFS manager
*Assist with collation and collection of information for school census.
