Street Scene has been delivering significant improvements in standards of cemeteries across the Borough. With modern, efficient working practices we have developed a multi-skilled team which delivers an integrated service. We are looking for committed individuals to contribute to the cemeteries service and further improve cemeteries management within Tamworth.
As part of Street Scene, you will be required to provide the full range of cemeteries duties in accordance with agreed standards of service delivery and customer care. This will include the administration and the day to day running of the cemeteries service, keeping accurate records and liaising with funeral directors’, customers and other professionals to ensure that legal requirements are adhered to.
Typical operations include liaising with funeral directors, members of public and the burials team to ensure the effective delivery of the burial services; ensuring that all applications for service are managed, administered, and processed in accordance with approved procedures and time frames, in accordance with corporate health and safety requirements, and within agreed standards of service delivery and customer care.
We are seeking individuals experienced in cemeteries services that have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and have experience in all aspects of cemeteries services.
This is a hybrid working contract, there is a requirement for some of duties to be carried out at home and some on site. Site attendance will constitute more than 40% of available working time.
