Are you an experienced customer account manager who thrives on supporting customer success?

We’re looking for a Customer Relationship Manager to join our team at Solihull Catering Services, working with schools, head teachers and stakeholders across the borough to ensure each catering contract meets its full potential.

Fostering key stakeholder relationships at every level of our business, you will lead the way in building and maintaining customer relationships across your catering portfolio. Proactively developing our services across the business, you will encourage customer engagement by demonstrating best value for the services Solihull Catering provide.

 

 

As Customer Relationship Manager you will:

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular, structured contract management and meetings
  • Act as the key point of contact for your customers with the support of your team of Operational Support Managers.
  • Organise relevant events and respond to national trends.
  • Onboard new contracts and negotiate existing contracts for Solihull Catering Services.
  • Prepare and conduct regular programme reviews and feedback, including managing KPI’s and creating regular progress reports.

You will have:

  • A track record of building and managing successful client and business relationships
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders outside of your line management structure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of project management with strong planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage conflicting demands and meet strict KPI’s
  • A passion for providing excellent client service with a proactive, customer-centric attitude

This role is based mainly in the Solihull borough, however Solihull Catering Service also support a number of schools in Coventry and Warwickshire. Whilst there is no excessive travelling, you will be expected to visit our customers on a regular basis. We are currently implementing our smarter ways of working model and therefore the remainder of your working time can be worked either from home, or from one of our offices in North and South Solihull.
