Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Accountable to:              Head of School, Assistant Head Teachers

Contract:                          Full time (32.5 hours per week) Term Time Only,

                                         Temporary/permanent contract depending on experience

Salary:                                G6: SCP 15-23 (£17,329 - £20,421 actual salary)

Mary Elliot School is a specialist setting in Walsall providing education to young people at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and 16-19 provision, all of whom have a variety of SEND complexities. The post holder will be joining our vibrant team as we move forward and refine our excellence in nurturing, developing and shaping young lives.

This role should appeal to you if you are confident in your ability to combine creative support of delivery in the classroom with a child-focused and nurture based approach. Are you able to demonstrate the schools’ ethos in everything that you do – positivity, optimism and compassion for children and adults around you. You should have a proven track record of great performance within your role to date.
