We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational individual, to lead and manage our Catering Facility at Gosford Park Primary School. The successful candidate will have experience managing a catering facility. You will be innovative, creative and passionate, ensuring our children have the best experience of healthy eating from a young age.

You will have experience of creating and cooking healthy delicious meals, managing a team of staff, reviewing and implementing change, managing a budget and menu planning, in order to deliver high quality healthy food on budget and on time.

The successful candidate will:

  • Create and serve delicious and nutritious meals for our pupils.
  • Menu plan and manage budgets.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of catering staff.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of catering legislation.
  • Be Customer focused.
  • Be articulate and able to communicate effectively with all shareholders.
  • Have knowledge of basic ICT

Salary is Grade 5 Pt 12 £22,571 - Pt 23 £28,226 FTE (pro rata for 30 hours per week, Term Time only plus 5 training days). The salary will be adjusted to reflect the actual hours and weeks worked.

(Starting Salary Point dependent on experience).

Hours of work will be 6.5 per day: 8 a.m. – 2.30 p.m. or 8.30 a.m. – 3 p.m. including half hour unpaid lunchbreak. Monday to Friday.
