Curriculum Area Learning Supervisor to start September

 Bilbrook Middle School is a high achieving middle school with Good Ofsted and SIAMS gradings.

 Grade 5

32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks) fixed for 1 year.

Bilbrook CE Middle School are looking to appoint a Curriculum Area Learning Supervisor, starting in September 2022.

As a Learning Supervisor you will:

  • Provide structured support, including tutorial support, in accordance with schemes for learning designed and supervised by individual teachers.
  • Use specialist knowledge to provide appropriate support to students in relation to their individual needs, e.g. behaviour management strategies.
  • Contribute to raising standards by ensuring expectations are set for students.
  • Work as a cover supervisor in the absence of a teacher.
  • Take responsibility for a class of students carrying out work as set by a teacher.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, evaluation and implementation.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons you are responsible for or come into contact with.
  • Develop a positive learning ethos within the school and federation.
