Do you want to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of your community?

We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our Talk Community Healthy Lifestyle Team. The service provides integrated behaviour support for smoking cessation, weight management, alcohol reduction, physical activity and falls prevention, all embedded in sustainable behaviour change and positive wellbeing. 

The ideal candidates will be motivated, organised and proactive advisors, with experience of working in community health programmes; passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and delivering motivational change which is client centered. 

The successful candidate will also be confident and experienced in delivering support to groups and 1-2-1 meetings.

We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills, who are confident delivering holistic health and lifestyle advice to individuals and groups, including carrying out initial assessments and brief interventions using proven behaviour change techniques.

A background in smoking cessation, nutrition, exercise, public health, community health or adult and/or family weight management would be beneficial along with being excellent team player and having a willingness to learn and develop.
