Corbett is unique in many ways and was founded in 1792 by sisters Mary and Hannah Corbett.

We are looking to appoint a passionate Headteacher who can provide professional leadership, strategic vision and drive to continue providing the highest quality care and education for all our pupils.

Corbett is a ‘good’ school with ‘outstanding’ personal development and welfare. (Ofsted October 2018) An outstanding grade was achieved for SIAMS in July 2015. Our motto is ‘Love to Learn and Learn to Love’.

The successful candidate will build on Corbett’s current successes, inspiring both staff and children to work together to maximise their full potential.

Will continue to forge strong relationships with families, carers, church and the wider community who work in partnership with the school. Will lead the school in its mission to continue to offer an excellent education within a framework of Christian values and beliefs. Has proven experience of delivering improvements and embedding successful practice. Is an exceptional classroom practitioner with an infectious curiosity and love of learning, with the leadership skills to deliver good quality continuing professional development.
