Spanish/Spanish and French

Required from September 2022.

Teacher of Languages with the ability to teach Spanish at least to GCSE. The ability to also teach French to GCSE would be an advantage; ideally full-time or 4 days per week.

Following promotion of colleagues, we are now seeking a talented languages teacher to teach Spanish and possibly French. Students have 10% of their key stage 3 curriculum time studying either French or Spanish throughout year 7 and 8. Half way through year 9 they begin options and can choose to study either or both languages at GCSE. Both French and Spanish are also offered at A level, and the school is also open to the possibility of offering other languages at GCSE or A level. The successful candidates could be an experienced practitioner or a recently qualified teacher, with scope within the department for both.
