Job Details

The Fire Safety Team in Tenancy and Estate Management are looking to appoint a full time Housing Management Assistant on a 3 month fixed term contract. 

 

 

Hours:   37 per week (1 position) 

Salary:  Grade 5

The role will involve providing support to Officers in the delivery of a professional and proactive housing management service. The team specifically supports flatted estates and the associated fire safety risk.

Main responsibilities: • Assist the team to achieve service targets and to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Housing Management service. • To assist with the planning and delivery of a schedule of fire safety checks ensuring all fire safety checks are completed in a timely manner. • Manage the waiting lists for garages within the borough and allocate and let the garages to suitable tenants. • To assist with or accompany Housing Managers on home and site visits in the provision of a professional and proactive service. • Work closely with customers to provide advice and information about housing services. Applicants should have excellent customer care and ICT skills, have the ability to understand and apply written policies and procedures and be able to work in a busy office environment.
