Salary: Grade B (£18,887 – £19,650 pro-rated) (£3,275 & £6,549 actual salary)

EXPERIENCED AND ENTHUSIASTIC PLAYWORKERS NEEDED WITHIN OUR WELL ESTABLISHED CHILDCARE PROVISION Little Acorns delivers a high quality service between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm.

We are seeking to recruit either 2 part-time play workers for either Monday to Friday 7:30am until 9:00am (7.5 hours per week) or Monday to Friday 3:00pm until 6:00pm (15 hours per week) or one play worker for the combined 22.5 hours per week to join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating care in our before and after school childcare provision.

The role/s will be temporary for a year includes supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to take part in, meeting and greeting parents and providing them with feedback on their child’s time at the setting.

Applicants will have a relevant Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) or above, preferably in play work, and have some experience of working with 0 – 7 year olds in a play environment. If you are enthusiastic, honest, reliable, hardworking and most importantly willing to have fun and enjoy working with children we look forward to receiving your application.
