School Improvement Partner

Salary: Independent Consultant Rates

Central Region Schools Trust (CRST) is seeking to appoint a SIP to work in partnership with the CRST School Improvement Team.

At our Schools, we aim to develop exceptional learners by developing outstanding professionals.  Our vision is to ensure social justice through exceptional schools.

The Role: The role would suit a recently retired, successful, Headteacher or current NLE (with no conflict of interest) and/or Ofsted inspector with school improvement partner/school-to-school support experience. In this instance we are looking for a SIP with experience and a proven track record in Early years foundation stage (EYFS).

The SIP will report to the CRST’s Trust Board SIP.  The role will involve supporting one or more schools and a commitment of approximately five days a year in the first instance, dependant on the individual school needs but, with likely growth in the Trust, as an approved DfE sponsor, this could increase.

Our Trust:

Do you want to work in partnership with an organisation with a powerful vision and strong values? Central Region Schools Trust is a group of primary and secondary phase schools founded by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (known as the Royal Society of Arts, The RSA). This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to partner with a forward-thinking, West Midlands-based, Multi Academy Trust with a moral drive to ensure the best educational outcomes for our students whilst additionally striving to make a difference to the lives of our young people. We currently have eleven schools within our Trust, with children from the age of three up to Sixth Form aged young adults. Our schools operated in two hubs in the West Midlands and are located across Worcestershire, Birmingham, and the Black Country.

If you wish to know more about this role, please contact Chelsea Cafolla to arrange an informal conversation with Guy Shears, Executive Principal (CEO) on telephone number: 0121 270 3117. Further information about this role and Central Region Schools Trust, including our detailed strategic improvement plan are available to download from our website at the Central Region Schools Trust – Founded by the RSA

Completed application forms should be emailed to ccafolla@centralrsaacademies.co.uk by Friday 10th June 2022. Interviews are planned for Monday 20th June.

Central Region Schools Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.

Social Justice through: Integrity; Excellence; Creativity; Community & Respect

Company

Our mission is to be an organisation that champions ‘social justice through exceptional schools’. We achieve this through the values shared by all schools within the Trust.  We have a proud, strong association with our founding partner, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (known as the Royal Society of Arts, the RSA). The RSA supports us with our distinctive culture. Our schools are rooted in the heart of their community, truly inclusive, building resilience, confidence and cultural capital for all. We foster a culture of innovation and creativity, and advocate that physical and mental well-being are essential for life at school and beyond. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking, Midlands based multi academy Trust with an utter moral drive to ensure the best educational outcomes for our students and striving to make a difference to the lives of our young people.

We currently have eleven schools within our Trust, with children from the age of three up to Sixth Form aged young adults. Our schools are in two hubs, in Tipton in the West Midlands and in Redditch, Worcestershire. The schools and their staff work together to ensure the best possible learning for the young people, by supporting each other through expertise and sharing so that our staff can be the best they can be.
