SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistants required, Ref: TV18622

We will consider Level 2 and 3 qualified Teaching Assistants for this post. This is a temporary post for the duration of funding provision for 32.5 hours per week (please see details below):

32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks (term time including 5 training days)

G4 (6 – 11), 6 = £15,076.11 to 11 = £16,645.17

G5 (9 – 17), 9 = £16,068.87 to 17 = £18,827.23

Class based teaching support

The candidate should be confident and experienced with:

• Planning and adapting activities provided by the class teacher for children’s individual needs.
• Working on a 1:1 basis to support children or a child with additional needs.
• Understanding various types of additional needs such as autism and speech and language barriers.
• Providing intimate care and lunchtime support if required.
• Working alongside the class teacher to provide an inclusive environment where all children can access the curriculum and make personal progress.
