Learning Support Assistant

Grade 2

2 posts

We have two Learning Support Assistant Grade 2 permanent posts to start September 2022, 27.5 hours per week, to be worked over five days Monday to Friday, term time only and includes the necessity to work four TEDs (teacher education days).  The salary is paid at Grade 2, points 5 to 6, £12,141 to £12,741 per annum (£19,650 - £20,043 full time equivalent).

This is a great opportunity to join our team of experienced and motivated LSAs.  Both positions are required to work 1:1 to support students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), ensuring they access a broad and balanced mainstream education.  Experience and knowledge of working in a classroom environment with young people who have very special learning, emotional and behavioural needs (SEN) would be beneficial for these posts.

  • Position one requires experience, knowledge and understanding of supporting a student who has an ASD diagnosis.
  • Position two requires experience, knowledge and understanding of supporting a student who has physical difficulties.

For further pre application information please contact Mrs Zoe Taylor (SENCo) by email z.taylor@cwlc.email.

Please see our informative website www.christopherwhitehead.co.uk for further information and an application pack.  Please email your completed application form to recruitment@cwlc.email. Please do not send a CV.

The deadline for receipt of completed application forms is 10.00am on Monday 13th June 2022.
