The Governors of The Affinity Federation are seeking to appoint a dynamic Head Teacher to lead Willenhall Community Primary School.

The Affinity Federation comprises of two primary schools; Willenhall Community Primary School and Whitmore Park Primary School.

This exciting opportunity arises due to the retirement of the current Head Teacher at the end of the Summer Term 2022.

We are looking for a Head Teacher who has vision, passion, and commitment to work in a diverse and vibrant school, with children at all levels, whilst ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to lead the school into the next phase of its development and make a significant contribution to the future success of the school.  The Head Teacher will have an invaluable opportunity to work in collaboration with our partner school.

Willenhall Community Primary School is a two-form entry school located on the south edge of Coventry. The school is set within an economically disadvantaged community, but a community with a strong spirit. We have the highest expectation of all of our staff and pupils, with a strong commitment to promoting their well-being. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, with pupil involvement, enjoyment and achievement at its heart.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.  All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references.
