Kingshurst Primary School is a very friendly and popular two/three form entry school with over 500 enthusiastic and loyal pupils. We pride ourselves on the way in which we support each other and provide a warm welcome to all new staff. Kingshurst Primary School is on a journey of school improvement and has made recent improvements, particularly in Behaviour and Welfare and Early Years, which were graded as good in the recent OFSTED inspection during June 2019. Successful applicants will be joining a school where continuous professional development and a relentless drive to improve and achieve the best possible standards and outcomes is at the centre of our school culture and ethos.
We are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated Behaviour and Pastoral Manager to manage and organise the learning mentor team within the school, ensuring a major contribution to the increasing opportunities for social inclusion and the academic success of pupils who need extra help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside of school. You will support pupils most in need, raising standards of achievement, personal development, engagement and attendance and provide guidance and support beyond and within the school.
This is an exciting opportunity which would suit a confident, nurturing person who thrives on building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. We require someone with drive and enthusiasm who is eager to join a team who strive towards school improvement.
