Janitor/Cleaner - Bursley Academy

Required for an immediate start, Bursley Academy requires a reliable cleaner/janitor to join our friendly team, to provide an efficient and effective flexible service to our academy. Cleaning and janitorial experience would be desirable however training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be a good communicator and able to organise their workload, along with the ability to use their initiative, be proactive, and conscientious in addition to being a team player.  Working under the direction of the site manager and cleaning supervisor, the post-holder will assist the team ensuring the academy is safe, clean and hygienic for all.

The postholder will be required to work 20 hours per week. This position is term time only, however, you will also be required to work some agreed hours during the school holidays.

Janitor Hours: 07:00-09:00am, Monday to Friday (10 hours)

Cleaning Hours: 16:00-18:00pm, Monday to Friday (10 hours)

Salary:                         NJC Grade 2 (SCP 2-3) (£18,516-£18,887) pro-rata
