Personal Welfare Support Assistant
(Linked to specific funding received for a pupil)
From September 2022.
Monday – Friday (8:45 am-12pm every morning + three afternoons)
Grade 2 (NJC 2) Pro Rata
22 hours per week + INSET
The Local Academy Council of Tynsel Parkes C.E. Primary Academy is offering the opportunity for a patient, qualified, caring and skilled practitioner to work one-to-one with a child in Year 2 and support with the delivery of EHCP interventions. Experience of working with children who have special needs is preferred. The successful applicant would be required to commence work within our academy from September 5th 2022.
We are a very hardworking and committed team of professionals who work together to provide a welcoming, safe academy and nursery.
We are looking for:
- An outstanding Personal Welfare Support Assistant with experience of supporting a child who has identified Special Educational Needs.
- A professional who is able to communicate with parents, class teachers and SENDCo on a daily basis.
- Someone who is able to follow instructions from other professionals.
- Organisation and good recording is needed daily to track intervention
- A proactive approach to work, begin able to change and adapt where needed.
- Someone who will support with social interaction, personal needs and general health including first aid and welfare matters.
