Clerk to Governors  

 Approx 55 – 60 Hours per annum (6 meeting per academic year evenings)

Grade D 3-4 (£10.08 per hour)

Permanent/Part time to commencing ASAP

The Governing Body of Budbrooke Primary School is looking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body to start ASAP. Previous minute taking experience along with an ability to learn quickly is essential and knowledge/experience of school Governance would be preferred but not essential.

The Clerk to the Governors would be accountable to the Governing Body and would work alongside the Chairs of Governors and the Headteacher.  Main duties include advising the Governing Body of protocol duties, preparation and circulation of minutes and other papers, taking and typing up minutes of meetings and other administration duties as required.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent IT skills with access to email/internet, good interpersonal and communication skills and good organisational skills.
