We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inclusion and Welfare Support Assistant to join St Patrick’s Catholic Primary Academy, alongside St Francis and St Clare Multi Academy Company.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and dedicated individual to implement and drive the Wellbeing Strategy from EYFS to Key Stage 2 and to also act as a Behaviour and Attendance Officer supporting children and families in our care.

 

You will be responsible for the management of attendance processes within school and the delivery of a range of behaviour and parenting programmes, working closely with the Senior Team and appropriate staff to support all aspects of wellbeing.

 

As a DDSL, you will also be responsible, alongside the DSL, to lead Early Help meetings and to liaise closely with other multi-agency professionals regarding all aspects of Safeguarding.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

 

  • experience of working with children and families on parenting programmes focusing on attendance and behaviour
  • the ability to produce accurate behaviour and attendance data for reporting and tracking
  • experience in using different systems, such as SIMS.net, Eclipse, Microsoft Office etc
  • great people skills, including working as part of a team, working with colleagues, parents, children and other multi-agency professionals
  • a good understanding of the operating pattern of a school
  • a commitment to safeguarding in schools
  • the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • a flair for detail, high standards of professionalism, plenty of common sense and strong organisational skills
  • the ability to travel across the sites of the Multi Academy Company and during home visits, if required
