Administration Officer

Grade 5, Spinal Point 6 – 9, £17,237 - £18,291 per annum (37 Hours)

Term time only plus training days. Permanent.

Under the guidance of senior staff, to be responsible for undertaking administrative and organisational processes within the school, and to assist with the planning and development of support services.

• Deal with complex reception/visitor etc. matters.

• Organise school trips/events etc.

• Provide advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others.

• Contribute to the planning, development and organisation of support service.

• Supervise, train and develop staff as appropriate.

• May involve line management responsibility for one other member of staff.

• Undertake recruitment/induction/appraisal/training/mentoring for other staff.

• Provide personal, administrative and organisational support to other staff.

• Manage manual and computerised record/information systems.

• Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required.

• Undertake typing and word-processing and complex IT based tasks.

• Operate relevant equipment/complex ICT packages.
