Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated graduate or recently qualified teacher to join our SEND team at King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy. Subject specialisms required: English, Mathematics, Science and Humanities.

The role will be to support pupils in Years 7 – 11 with statements of Special Education Need working alongside subject teachers in supporting pupils with their class work, in addition to specific intervention and bespoke 1:1 support. The ideal candidate will be a team player and be driven by results. In turn, you will be joining an inviting, friendly, and supportive team who are equally passionate in supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. The academy is rapidly improving and continuing to benefit from having joined King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham which has led to investment across the academy, including the availability of cutting-edge technology in each classroom. faculties/departments and individual staff to work collaboratively.
