The Head Teacher and governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working admin assistant to join our team.

The Administration Assistant will:

  1. Provide general admin support when required including typing, word-processing and complex IT based tasks. Have knowledge of various ICT packages (including word & excel) Deal with enquiries either by telephone or face-to-face Ensuring all visitors are signed in following appropriate safeguarding processes Act as a point of contact for pupils, staff, parents and visitors. Telephone parents to collect their child when required, e.g. due to illness. Maintain manual and computerised records and management information systems. Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required. Arrange prospective parent visits to the school in liaison with Extended Services Manager Process any new school application forms that are received and check that they have been completed satisfactorily Assist with arrangements for school visits and events Ensure the confidentiality of any data is maintained in line with Data Protection Regulations Participate in training required for the post e.g. Safeguarding and Data Protection Ensure the reception area is welcoming and tidy
