Teaching Assistants Grade 3 – Maternity Cover

Senior Play Worker, Grade 3 – Maternity Cover

Start Date: 1^st September 2022

We are seeking to fill 4 positions due to maternity.

Position 1, Teaching Assistant, Salary £8,048 per annum Term time only– This maternity cover is to work from 8.50am until 12.30pm – Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will work 1-2-1 with a child who has an EHCP. Weekly hours will be 18 hours and 20 minutes. This maternity cover is expected to last 8 months.

Position 2, Teaching Assistant, Salary £6,220 per annum Term time only – This maternity cover is to work from 12.30pm until 3.20pm – Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will work 1-2-1 with a child who has an EHCP. Weekly hours will be 14 hours and 10 minutes. This maternity cover is expected to last for 1 year.

Position 3, Teaching Assistant, Salary £5,123 per annum Term time only – This maternity cover is to work from 1.00pm until 3.20pm – Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will work in small groups or work 1-2-1 with children, across the school, who need additional support. Weekly hours will be 11 hours and 40 minutes. This maternity cover is expected to last 8 months.

Position 4, Senior Play Worker, Salary £2,340 per annum Term time only – This maternity cover is for the after school club – CHILL. The days and hours are Wednesday and Friday (3.20pm until 6.00pm – both days) but the days could be negotiated or additional days offered. This maternity cover is expected to last for 1 year.

The 4 positions are currently covered by 2 members of staff. Positions 1 and 2 are dependent on funding for the EHCP. Candidates can apply for more than one post.
