Salary: £21,269 - £23,953 per annum
37 Hours per week – Fixed term until August 2025
About the role
Staffordshire Archives & Heritage are looking for an enthusiastic person to support the delivery of our Staffordshire History Centre project. This is an exciting time for the Archives & Heritage Service which has been awarded a £3.9m National Lottery Heritage Fund grant to deliver the Staffordshire History Centre.
The Learning Officer will work as part of the Archives & Heritage team to implement an ambitious learning programme at the Staffordshire History Centre and across Staffordshire.
What you’ll bring
You will have A-level or equivalent in a relevant subject or 3 years’ relevant experience.
You will have experience, paid or voluntary, of working in museums or archives. Experience of working within a formal or informal learning setting and delivery of engagement activities is essential. Supervising volunteers, good knowledge of the national curriculum and awareness of good practice in learning outside of the classroom is also required.
