The Role
How would you like to become part of a committed team providing essential business support to our front line library staff?
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Library Service Support team to deliver business support to libraries. The work is interesting and varied and includes banking income, room bookings, raising orders for goods and services and responding to customer emails.
It is a busy role, so good interpersonal and effective organisational skills are important. We would expect a high level of customer focus, flexibility, initiative and the ability to switch priorities quickly. Being IT literate, you will be used to office related computer applications
This post offers the right candidate a varied, dynamic environment to work in and provides a unique opportunity to work within a committed and enthusiastic team.
The post holder will be an agile worker that will support Libraries mainly in the north of the County. You will be required to work in those libraries but there is also an element of home working.
The post holder would be expected to travel throughout the county to provide support to other libraries and carry out support for the wider library service, depending on business need.
Working Pattern
Monday - 6 hours
Tuesday - 6 hours
Wednesday - 4 hours
