Knowle CE Primary Academy is situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Knowle. We are a much sought after two form entry school and we currently have 505 pupils on roll. The school was judged as Outstanding by OFSTED in March 2012 and achieved academy status in April 2013.
At Knowle CE Primary Academy our aim is to prepare our pupils for their future. The exemplary learning journey pupils experience not only equips them for the next stage in their education, but also ensures that they are confident, skilled, knowledgeable, caring individuals ready to impact on, influence and shape the world they live in.
Our track record for achieving the highest academic standards and our genuine belief that the journey is, in many ways, more important than the destination are the twin drivers for our ever evolving and improving curriculum. We aim to teach our pupils the full range of academic and life skills they will require within the context of exciting, challenging ‘real-life’ experiences and opportunities for learning.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Teaching and Learning Support Worker to join our team in Year 5 to assist with providing an outstanding learning experience for one of our pupils with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work with the team to support in all aspects of the learning journey, making adaptations to the curriculum and resources to ensure that the pupil can maximise on his/her potential. We are looking for someone who exudes positivity and enthusiasm and is committed and eager to make a real difference.
“Attitude is contagious – is yours worth catching?”
We can offer:
• The opportunity to work in an outstanding school (OFSTED March 2012)
• Friendly, supportive and talented colleagues who are willing to invest in your future growth and development
• Enthusiastic, well-motivated children who are eager to learn
• Excellent facilities and working environment
• The opportunity to use your skills and initiative
