Teaching Assistant – Grade 4 £19650 pro rata to term time only.

To start September 2022

Full time position 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.15 – 4.15, Friday 8.15 – 3.45) – 30-minute lunch break. Fixed term contract until 25^th July 2023

This position is fixed term initially with the possibility of being made permanent.

St Paul’s are looking to appoint a dedicated, caring and creative Teaching Assistant to join our school team. We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about pupils’ learning, enjoys being with children, has a positive attitude and is able to work as part of a friendly and enthusiastic team.

Working under the supervision of the Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting the pupils in class as well as working with small groups, delivering structured interventions.

You will need to have the following skills/experience:

• Qualified Level 3
• TA Recent and relevant experience of working with children across the primary age range, 4 – 11 years
• Good numeracy and literacy skills 
• Excellent inter-personal skills  Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team 
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the working environment
• Able to act as Cover Supervisor during teacher absence under the direction of a teacher/designated member of staff.
