There has never been a better time to join the Governance, Policy and Performance at Unitas Stoke-on-Trent Ltd. Two fantastic opportunities have arisen to join our team as a Business Improvement Officer.

 

We are looking for two individuals to be responsible for the delivery of business improvement, assurance and transformation across Unitas.

 

 

 

 

 

The first postholder will be expected to:

 

Undertake service reviews and internal audits. Develop and deliver a range of projects and plans to improve our services. Monitor, review and manage policies and strategies to ensure they are implemented effectively. Monitor, review and manage business plans, action plans and service improvement plans. Implement, monitor and report on key performance indicators across all service areas.  

 

 

 

The second postholder will primarily be focused on supporting Unitas to achieve, maintain and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 accreditation. They will be expected to:

 

 

 

Work with an external agency to assess existing organisational procedures and analyse any gaps that exist. Work across the business to define Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to improve performance and satisfaction of both workers and customers. Build and establish Unitas’s Quality Management System to evidence conformity to ISO standards in preparation for certification. Assist the business to move from the ‘Plan’ to ‘Do’ phase and ensure the procedures that are implemented. Set up a monitoring system to collect data required for analysis and evaluation of ISO certification compliance. To carry out complete and thorough internal audits in respect of the ISO standards. To support in the external audit process  at each annual compliance check.

This is a full time permanent post, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible working hours. Salary: £24,920 - £27,514 per year.
