About the Team and the Role

 

We are recruiting for a Senior Web Developer to join our team, who will work closely others in the Online Application Development team and its customers. 

 

Building and helping to lead an agile delivery team, you will help support and deliver high-quality, customer-focused, technical solutions that exceed our customer's expectations.

 

We are looking for someone who will create, influence, and support an environment of innovation, self-learning, and continual improvement.  Someone who wants to drive forward the supported applications through technology and processes, whilst building strong customer and supplier relationships.

 

Some of the key aspects of the role:

 

  • Being a system mentor for others in the Online Applications Development team
  • Leading and building systems/applications on our current software stack including technologies such as SharePoint, PowerSuite, .net and Azure
  • Looking for ways to streamline and improve our current software delivery lifecycle and practices
  • Working with our customers to add value and improve the service
  • Working with the team and its customers to build development pipelines and delivery / release schedules
  • Developing best practices and development standards. Ensuring that they are adhered to, help measure progress and work on improvements
