Cover Supervisor - September 2022 start 

(initially 12 months fixed term contract)

Queen Victoria is a child-centred school with a strong ethos of enabling children to lead through their own learning.  We constantly strive to make learning irresistible and employ a Creative Curriculum as one of the key tools to achieve this.

Our pupils form a highly integrated part of the management of their school.  Together with our staff, they have an entitlement to exercise their choices and introduce challenges through collaborative, peer-group learning and discovery.  As such, we are interested in like-minded teachers who understand and foster a culture of 'learning without barriers'.

Children are our business and we are constantly ‘reaching and believing’ to make a difference to all of those who come into contact with us.

We are looking for hardworking, passionate, creative cover supervisor who is organised, self‑ motivated and confident as well as being good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills.

Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only

Salary: Grade 5

We are deeply committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children and expect all Staff and Volunteers to share this commitment.  All necessary Safeguarding checks will be undertaken which must have satisfactory outcomes, otherwise the conditional job offer may be withdrawn.  Details of the checks that will be undertaken can be found at: Keeping Children Safe in Education 2021 – KCSIE 2021.

This role has been assessed as working in regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS.

The post is also dependent upon at least two suitable written references.
