Clerk to Governors - St Matthias Church of England Primary
The Governing Body of St. Matthias CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governors.
The duties and responsibilities allocated to the post will be based on the skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications of the individual appointed which will determine the salary grade.
The Clerk’s main role will be to provide professional clerking services for the Governing Body. They will work with Chair of Governors and Headteacher.
The successful candidate will be able to;
- Take accurate minutes and produce a clear and accurate record of decisions taken and actions required for distribution
- Collate, distribute or deposit in the appropriate area of the school website, all associated paperwork in advance of meetings.
- Be able to take minutes at all meetings throughout the year approximately 6-8 meetings a term. Meetings will normally take place in the evenings.
- Provide procedural and legal advice and guidance.
- Attend relevant training events.
- Demonstrate relevant experience.

Hours: 170 hours per year (£11.21 - £11.43 per hour)
