We are looking for an Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our highly recognised Centre for Professional Practice! Are you an experienced Social Worker? Do you believe in the importance of building relationships, supporting others, and championing continuing professional development? Are you committed to using your skills and knowledge to provide the best practice possible for children, young people, and families? If so, then this is the role for you.

Dudley is a great place to practice Social Work. Our vision is that the Dudley borough is a wonderful place for children and young people to grow up, where they will be happy, healthy, safe, and enjoy a good and inclusive education. We recognise that our workforce is the foundation to our success in achieving this, and that we need to have the conditions in place to enable professional expertise to flourish. The Centre for Professional Practice is key to this. The aim is to build a culture of continued improvement, learning, reflection and innovation, working with children and families, and learning from quality assurance and best practice.

This is a fantastic progression opportunity. Your role will involve supporting practitioners to develop their knowledge, skills, and experience, including an emerging specialism in practice. You will do this by supporting the delivery of the ASYE Programme to our newly qualified Social Work Practitioners, managing social work qualifying programmes, and contributing to learning and development and quality assurance activities.

To apply for this role, you should be able to demonstrate your practice experience to a more senior level, and evidence your commitment to your continued professional development. This includes working towards achieving your Practice Educator Level 1 / Level 2 Award.

This is a great time to join us! Please do get in touch to find out more by contacting the Team Manager directly at Nisha.patel@dudley.gov.uk.
