Location: Hempstalls Primary School Collard Avenue Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 9LH

Required: Grade 1 Clerical Assistant (Apprentice)

Post Status: Temporary Position (to be reviewed in June 2023)

Weekly Hours: 32.5

Salary: National Apprenticeship Wage

Pay Weeks: Term-Time Only

Start Date: September 2022

The children, governors, staff and parents of Hempstalls Primary School are seeking to appoint a Clerical Assistant (Apprentice) to join our professional and friendly office team.

We are looking for someone who:
Will provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors to our school
Will undertake reception duties, answer routine telephone and face-to-face enquiries and assist the sign-in of visitors
Will assist with pupil welfare duties; liaise with parents/staff etc.
Will assist with arrangements for visits from relevant external bodies e.g. school photographer etc.
Has excellent ICT, communication and organisational skills
Fully understands and respects the importance of confidentiality
