The Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible individual who is calm under pressure with good communication and people skills with regard to. You will need to be a team player working closely with the driver transporting clients with an enhanced care requirement, ensuring their comfort and safety.

The role involves working on a split shift to bring in children in of a morning and return them home in the afternoon from Wyre Forest School.

A key task in this role is to physically assist clients as necessary to and from the vehicle and help them on and off the vehicle by means of step or the vehicle lift according to level of need.

Candidates require the ability to undertake moderate physical activity sometimes in a confined space.

A full package of training will be provided to support you in this specialist role of Passenger Assistant should you be successful.

This Passenger Assistant role is primarily a one to one role focused on facilitating one particular child to travel  

Due to the nature of the work a criminal record check via the DBS disclosure service will also be required. 

Location: The Passenger Assistant collection and drop off point is Baxter College, Habberley Road, Kidderminster DY115PQ.
